The location was amazing, being not too far from the beach. The hotel was located 400 metres from the bus stop. The staff were very amiable, the beds were comfortable, and the room was huge.
There was nothing I didnt like.

The room at Hansa Villa offered breathtaking views of both the sea and the mountains. It was a peaceful retreat where I could soak in the beauty of nature. I loved the cozy seating area in certain units. It was perfect for relaxation after a long day of exploring. The air conditioning provided by the villa was a blessing, especially during the hot weather. It made the room comfortable and allowed me to escape the heat. Having a washing machine was a great convenience. I could easily freshen up my clothes without any hassle. The private entrance in the double room gave me a sense of privacy and independence. The soundproofing in the room was a pleasant surprise. It helped create a peaceful environment, ensuring a good night's sleep. The shared kitchen was a bonus. It was handy for preparing my own meals or having a cup of coffee with other guests. The free toiletries provided in the private bathroom were a nice touch, saving me from carrying my own. The room had a sofa, which added an extra level of comfort and relaxation.
Personally, I found the tile/marble floor in the double room a bit cold and not as cozy as I would have liked.

From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and cared for by the friendly and hospitable staff. We ended up extending our stay from 1 night to 7 because we loved it so much. the location is ideal, just a short walk to the beach and conveniently close to fruit and vegetable shops. the rooms were spacious, clean, and provided a comfortable place to sleep. the beautiful surroundings and daily visits from monkeys, monitor lizards, and birds added to the charm of this place. We also appreciated the value for money that Hansa Villa offered.
It was a brilliant stay, and we can't wait to return.

Stunning sea and mountain view from our room, like a postcard come to life! The self-catering accommodation was just a short stroll away from the famous Japanese Peace Pagoda, a surreal and peaceful experience. The villa provided all the comforts we needed, from air conditioning to a washing machine, making us feel right at home. The private entrance in our cozy double room gave us a sense of exclusivity, like entering our own little world. The shared kitchen was a great addition, allowing us to socialize with other guests and whip up some delicious meals together. Free WiFi access was a lifesaver, keeping us connected and entertained during our stay. The private bathroom was well-stocked with complimentary toiletries, adding a touch of luxury to our stay. The beachfront location of the villa was absolute bliss, just steps away from sandy shores and crashing waves. Car hire services were available on-site, making it convenient for us to explore the beautiful surroundings. Our apartment had a balcony, the perfect spot to soak in the sun and enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning.
Some areas of the building and interior could use a bit of renovation.

The hotel is nestled in a beautiful tropical garden, giving it a peaceful and serene atmosphere. It is conveniently located close to the beach and restaurants, allowing easy access to the vibrant tourist scene. Moreover, the hotel is situated next to the jungle, offering a unique opportunity to observe monkeys playing in the palm trees.
The common kitchen could have been cleaner, which might disappoint guests who enjoy cooking their own meals.

The location was perfect, surrounded by lush greenery and beautiful flowers. Just a short 4-minute walk away was a stunning beach. the villa had a fully equipped kitchen and we were able to cook our own meals. the hosts were incredibly kind and hospitable, making us feel right at home. the colonial villa-style of the house added to its charm. the value for money at Hansa Villa was unmatched compared to other places we've stayed in Sri Lanka. Cons: Couldn't find any faults at all! 😊.
